During the last three days I was in Mannheim hosted by GESIS, Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences. They had organized in collaboration with CESSDA and Eurostat an introductory workshop for the European Union Labour Force Survey (EU-LFS), which is one of the data source I’m going to use during VINE project.
The course was impressive and it gave 360^ degrees information not only on the legal use of data thanks to Hartmut Schör (Eurostat) but also about the possibilities offered by this information source. I was impressed by the interesting presentation from Michael Gebel (University of Bamberg) and Klaus Pfoor (GESIS) on what you can do with the data.
Well, a lot of food for thoughts, now it’s time to work as well!
