December 5th, I have organized a seminar inviting my colleague and friend Antonio Firinu (Università di Cagliari) in the IGOP Seminar Series. The seminar was entitled “The Jobs (F)act. Marginalisation and flexicurity in Italy”. Our paper was discussed by Oscar Molina, from the department of Sociology of the UAB.
In the seminar, we showed an analysis of marginal work in the last eight years in Italy, to test the hypothesis by which marginal work distributes unequally across generations, being young workers more exposed compared to workers that have started their careers before the deregulation of Italian labour markets.
