The third edition of the Jobless Society Forum will take place at Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli in Milano, Wednesday June 13th. I am very honoured to take place as coordinator of the workshop “Women’s Work”, which is going to discuss the role of women in labour markets and the evolution of women’s work in Italy during the last years of crisis. Scope of the workshop will be the identification of the key questions that represents the current shortcoming of women’s integration in labour markets, but also identifying key policies and actions that might allow to cope with increasing destandardization and precarisation of women’s jobs. You can access the recommendation of the table here (available in Italian).

The Jobless Society Forum is one of the main annual events organised by Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli. This year will be devoted to the analysis of the quality of work, focusing on practices and policies related to the current state of labour markets, with a rich program involving stakeholders and researchers from all over Italy in nine thematic workshops. The workshop “Women’s Work” in which I will participate as coordinator will for sure be extremely interesting for my project VINE funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions of European Commission, which aims at exploring the role of women’s work in predicting the exposure of households to economic insecurity. Again, food for thoughts!
